Trinity Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) meeting in Newark, DE and serving the surrounding Newark DE/Elkton MD region.  We follow our Risen Lord and Savior through conscious discipleship of our families and covenant children.  This covenantal or family-oriented approach to ministry is based upon verses like Deut 6:4-7.  We also continue our obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) by actively seeking to share the Gospel with our community so that other singles and families may come to know the joy of being growing disciples of Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory.

We rejoice in our freedom to openly gather each week before the Lord as His people to Worship Him.  We worship in a traditional style that makes use of piano accompanied hymns and Psalms as well as the historic creeds and catechisms of the Church.  We trust the Lord to lift us up by grace during Worship so that we all, from children to adults, may know that we have been in the presence of the  Almighty each week.

We look for the Lord to use us, His people, to be salt and light and, as a Church, to be a "City on a Hill" to the Newark, DE region and the surrounding area.  Members are engaged in personal evangelism and ministries - including Christian educational ministries such as Tall Oaks Classical School.  The Church has also worked together to serve in a local relief mission and in evangelism and outreach activities such as the Cecil County Fair and Newark Nite as well as doing a series on The Origin of Life in local public meeting locations.  Our hope is to see the Lord use us to further His Kingdom - to make disciples - which includes giving the free offer of the Gospel to all people and training up all who come to Christ in the knowledge of the Lord.

To learn more about us, we invite you to explore this web site and to join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the Hillside sanctuary of the First Church of the Nazarene on 357 Paper Mill Rd., Newark, DE. (See map.) If you have any questions, or would like to speak to our pastor or an elder, please feel free to contact us.
